On Report

What is meant by the term "On Report"?
Students whom amount continous slips received from teachers to the tutor, may be placed 'On Report'. This means that a specially designed card is presented by the student to each teacher for each class for a period of time to monitor improvement. The class teacher will sign it with comment(s).

Each evening, the parent is required to sign it also. The Year Head will review this card on a daily basis / intermittent occasions.

The Year Head will review progress with the student upon completion of the 'On Report' period.
Review may lead to the following:

  • A further period On Report, may well be in order
  • A meeting with Parent and / or Guardian, may be arranged by the Year Head if deemed necessary.

Penalties, including suspension, may be imposed if satisfactory progress is not eventually forthcoming

Withdrawal from the school may be required.
