October Mid-term: All schools will close from 26th to 30th October 2009 inclusiveChristmas Holidays: All schools will close on 22nd December 2009 which will be the final day of the school term.
All schools will re-open on 7th January 2010February Mid-term: Post-Primary schools will close from 15th to 19th February 2010 inclusive.
Easter Holidays: All schools will close on 26th March 2010 which will be the final day of the school term.
All schools will re-open on 12th April 2010.All dates are subject to change

School Year 2010/2011
October 2010 mid-term break - All schools will close from 25th to 29th October 2010 inclusive
Christmas 2010 - All schools will close on 23rd December 2010 which will be the final day of the school term.
All schools will re-open on 10th January 2011
February 2011 mid-term break - Post-Primary schools will close from 21st to 25th February 2011 inclusive.
Easter 2011 - All schools will close on 15th April 2011 which will be the final day of the school term.
All schools will re-open on 3rd May 2011.


School Year 2011/2012

October 2011 mid-term break - All schools will close from Monday 31st October to 4th November 2011 inclusive

Christmas 2011 - All schools will close on Friday 23rd December 2011 which will be the final day of the school term
All schools will re-open on Monday 9th January 2012

February 2012 mid-term break - Post-Primary schools will close from 13th to 17th February 2012 inclusive. Unless changes are required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures.Where contingency arrangements are required a school authority may reduce the length of the February mid-term break by remaining open up to and including Wednesday 15th February 2012.

Easter 2012 - All schools will close on 30th of March 2012 which will be the final day of the school term, unless changes are required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures. Where contingency arrangements are required a school authority may reduce the length of the Easter break by remaining open up to and including Wednesday 4th April 2012.

All schools will re-open on 16th April 2012.

May Bank Holiday May-7th May 2012.

June Bank Holiday 6th if June 2012.

Where contingency arrangements are required a school authority may reduce the length of the Easter break by remaining open up to and including Wednesday 16th April 2014.

All schools will re-open on Monday 28th April 2014.
