1st & 2nd Year students recently took part in the South Leinster Track & Field events held recently in SETU Carlow. Students represented the school brilliantly across a wide variety of events, including Shot Put, Long Jump, the 100m and 200m sprints, and the 800m race.
All students showed great determination, sportsmanship and school spirit throughout the day, competing to a very high standard against schools from across the region.
A special congratulations goes to 1st Year student Oran, who delivered a very impressive performance in the Junior Boys 200m sprint, finishing in 2nd place. Oran has now qualified for the upcoming Leinster Championships. Well done to all students who took part, and we wish Oran the very best of luck in the next stage of the competition.
