The GLOBE Ireland Awards celebrate outstanding environmental research and action by primary and secondary school students across Ireland. Held as part of the GLOBE Ireland programme, the annual awards recognise projects that use scientific methods to investigate real-world environmental issues—such as air quality, water ecosystems, and climate resilience—and reward innovative, solutions-focused thinking. The event also provides a platform for students to present their findings, share ideas, and engage with scientists and environmental experts.
The RCS team of students are short-listed for an award due to their trojan work this year in producing a quality project with Ms J Healy on air quality around the school which undoubtedly highlights their commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness.
Best of luck TY's!
